Luke invited us to his home and studio in Brockton, MA, where he discussed the parallels between his work and custom Chucks. Similar to his shoes, even the colors on the walls of his studio are blue, which brings him both inspiration and comfort when creating.
Zebra Archive
His custom Chucks, "Angels Everywhere," features bold zebra stripes—which symbolize community—to honor everyday people Luke considers his angels. The light blue denim tongue follows suit with the heavenly theme, and is also the color he envisions when hearing music.
Light Blue Denim
To celebrate his most recent album, "Angels Never Die," Luke chose to embroider “A.N.D” on the tongue, framed and finished with his favorite loose white laces.
"Blue just makes me feel like whatever I'm doing creatively—I'm doing correctly."
