Accessibility Statement
Converse is committed to ensuring that Converse.com is accessible to everyone, in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.
To do this, we are implementing the following strategy and actions:
Presentation of the strategy and actions
• The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ( WCAG ) 2.1 Level AA are the international standard for measuring success. We regularly test our site to ensure we meet or exceed these standards.
• To ensure our sites function properly and go beyond simply complying with regulatory guidelines, we work in partnership with advocacy groups, accessibility and usability specialists, and people with disabilities.
• Our teams have access to digital accessibility training in various formats
• We regularly engage, internally and externally, with disability advocates, DEI experts, focus groups, and auditing organizations to evaluate and improve our digital tools
• Automated accessibility tests periodically and a full manual audit is performed at least once a year.
• We never stop learning. We're always looking to improve the performance, speed, and accessibility of our services.
Website accessibility
Converse has taken the following steps to ensure the accessibility of our digital landscape:
• Standard: the site is compatible with the most popular browsers (such as Chrome, Mozilla, Edge), in their most recent versions, and on mobile phones.
• Improving the site display: People with visual impairments can enlarge the site display by pressing the "Ctrl" and "+" (Control and Plus) keys at the same time.
• Navigating the site using a keyboard: People who have difficulty using a mouse can navigate the site using a keyboard. The Tab key allows you to navigate between the different links on the page. To go to the selected link, simply press the Enter key
• Improved readability with better color contrast on Converse.com
• Assistive Technology Support: This site is an accessible site for people with disabilities and supports screen reading software.
Multi-year accessibility program, 2025-2027

Training and education
Training and educating our teams is a key way to advance accessibility. Our employees regularly attend training to ensure they integrate accessibility into their work. Here is a list of these training:

Internal audits and comments
At Converse, we use both automated accessibility testing and manual audits involving people with disabilities. Each year, we conduct manual re-audits of public-facing technologies aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, using screen readers, screen magnifiers, keyboards, and other assistive technologies. The results of these audits are recorded in Jira, our issue tracking software, and issues are triaged with engineering and product teams. Additionally, we have integrated Google Lighthouse into our development channel on Converse.com to ensure ongoing monitoring, and we present these results on an internal dashboard.
In addition, we conduct usability studies with people with disabilities and employ people with disabilities within our teams to ensure that we take their qualitative feedback into account.
Corrective technical measures
Audits and user feedback help us focus on the most important issues, in line with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Each relevant issue goes through a process of prioritization, categorization, and technical triage. The issues that are most likely to impact the experience of people with disabilities are at the top of our priorities. Typically, we focus on solving issues related to, but not limited to, the following:
• Keyboard, Tab Navigation, and Attention Management
• VoiceOver, TalkBack, JAWS, NVDA and Dragon Naturally Speaking
• Screen magnification
• Use and contrast of colors
• Error messages and forms to fill out
Process integration
Beyond these corrective actions, we are working to embed accessibility into our processes across the company. In digital, we are working with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure they are incorporating accessibility and WCAG standards into new features and publishing compliant code.
This accessibility statement applies to Converse.com.
