Half a century or so, and still great

I had my first pair in this style when I was 12. Fifty years on, I still love the style and the fit. I just wish Converse would bring back the white-leather-with-colored-star colorway that my friends and I argued incessantly about, on the playground, at 12. Other shoe companies ceaselessly innovate, for innovation's sake. It's great to have a sneaker company that knows when it's discovered a species of "perfect."
