The CONS CTAS Pro Mid Top combines all of the essential design cues of the 1917 high-top original with performance technology to make it a true skateboarding shoe. Fully updated with a molded CX foam sockliner for cushioning, traction rubber outsole for better boardfeel, and rubber-backed canvas for durability. This season, CONS adds an extra layer of rubber under the quarter panel for maximum durability, and a mid-top cut for better movement. This performance upgrade is ready to go.

DREAM ACHIEVED

I'm 54 this month. I've been wearing Chucks since I was 11. Black, laced to the second to top eyelet, and for most of that time, I'd cut a slot in the tongue to hold it in place better. For a lot of years they were the only shoes I wore, for skating, hiking, work, dates, even basketball (unless I was playing a real real pickup game). I've been through a lot with my Classic Chucks, but the CTAS Pros are what I always kinda wished those were. Thank you, Chuck and all your shoe elves. More support, a tongue that stays in place, midtop so they only lace as high as I like them. I'm never going to stop wearing Chucks, but I'm ordering a couple more pairs of these, because I want to make sure that I have a pair in my closet for the next half of my life (yes, I do plan on living to 108)
