I picked up the Chuck Converse woven leather sneakers and was immediately impressed by how soft the leather feels—there’s no break-in period at all. Like all Converse, they’re super comfortable for walking around all day (and I live in NYC, so that says a lot). The design definitely gives off that luxe, woven-leather vibe reminiscent of a certain Italian brand, and I love how the braided leather adds a high-low, elevated feel to a classic silhouette. You can dress it up or down. Overall, the look and feel are fantastic. If anything, I’d love to see some gold accents added to make them pop even more.

I picked the Chuck 70 Woven Leather in black and they’re honestly one of the best Converse styles I’ve bought. The black woven leather looks sleek, premium, and so much more elevated than the classic canvas pairs. They definitely feel sturdier and more structured, which means they’re a little stiff the first day or two, but after they soften up, the comfort is really good for everyday wear. You can dress them up or down. They definitely give you that designer look for less. I wouldn’t change anything about them as they’re perfect even the shoe laces!
