Absolute STUNNERS: Museum quality

From a comfort and wear standpoint, if you regularly rock Chucks, they're elevated and have more padding and therefore a little bit more comfort. But who cares, really. These could be the most uncomfortable things I've ever had on my feet, and I'd still want to wear them. They're absolutely gorgeous. The laces are amazing. The texture of the upper feels amazing. The subtle snake nods in the design are great. The color is so rich – the red on the ankle badge is perfect, and wait till you see the stitching on the gold star. The ankle bracelet is such a cool decorative touch. Straight up, I might NEVER, EVER, EVER wear these, and I would be more than happy to just put them under a dome, set up some decor around them, and make them a display piece. I've got hundreds of shoes, and these are instantly in my top five from a shoes-at-art standpoint. Just INCREDIBLE all around. If you're a serious Chuck collector, I wouldn't pass on these FUTURE LEGENDS!

Exactly what I wanted

I think converse has had some pretty consistent amazing designs for Chinese/Lunar New Year. This year was yet another! And I'm glad that I got them. They look festive and awesome.
