Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Double Stack Platform Metallic

Cool and comfy shoes!

I love these! They're soooo cute!!! The Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Double Stack Platform shoes are comfy! I'm also obsessed with the metallic silver color because it goes with a ton of my outfits (I wear A LOT of grey and black). I was nervous to try these due to the platform because I have bad ankles and NEVER wear heals, but they are fine. They are a smidge big but a thicker sock helped with my heal slipping. I sometimes wear orthotics and don't think I could wear them with these because it would raise my heel too high in the shoe. With that being said, the extra cushion is much appreciated as compared to basic versions of this shoe and I don't think I would need my inserts anyway. These feel well made and I like the fabric because it isn't stiff. Oftentimes shiny shoes can be made with stuff material and that is not an issue with these. Overall I am impressed and I can't wait to style them. This shoe could be worn casually or as a featured piece of an outfit. Very cool!

The shoe of my dreams!

I've always loved the look of Chucks but as I've gotten a bit older I really feel the lack of support. This shoe changes all that! It has the same iconic Chuck style with loads more support and cushion. While I wouldn't necessary run 5 miles in them, you can definitely wear them out and about all day with sustained comfort. The platform also elevates (pun intended) the style and gives it a wear-anywhere flair. The metallic fabric is also great - I didn't find it any stiffer than regular Chuck Taylor canvas, and it's nice to add a bit of not-too-gaudy shine. As stated, the shoe does run just a little big. I ordered half a size down and it fit perfectly. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly Surprised!

I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. I was a little skeptical with the color as I'm not a loud color person but they complimented my neutral wardrobe very well. They were also surprisingly very comfortable as I thought that the platform may cause discomfort when worn for long periods of time. However, the insole was created with comfort in mind. They were soft and squishy while also providing great posture support. I wore these to a winery which also had a pumpkin patch and at the end of the day my feet were unscathed. They are a great addition to my millennial wardrobe.
