Half size down, as recommended
I'm a size 9 wide, got an 8.5 wide (as recommended) and its a perfect fit. Glad they started selling these in wide.

They Start Out as My "Dress Shoes"
These start out as my "dress shoes" and then become everyday wear. I like the sturdier construction. I suggest thicker or wider laces for a more stylish look.
One of the best shoes you can get
I had been wanting to get a pair of Chuck 70s for a while. I had a pair of Chucks as a kid and always loved them, and was was intrigued by the 70 version being more true to the original Chucks from the 70s. The build quality and materials are top-notch. The canvas is thick, almost too thick at first, but it softens up. These have a bit of a break-in perioid. I got these and some Newbalances at the same time. The Newbalances fit better out of the box with the wider toebox. But after the break-in period, the Chuck 70s might be even more comfortable. They loosen up and conform to the shape of your foot. They are a sleek elegant narrow design. I went half a size down like everyone recommented and I agree: half a size down was perfect for me. They felt a little tight at first, but like I said before, after the break in period, they feel outstanding. If you can, I would recommend going with the wide-fit version, which well let them fit better sooner out of the box.
Comfortable
Chuck 70s are the way to go. I won't wear plain All Stars anymore. 70s are way more comfortable.
Perfect Christmas gift
Purchased these converse in bite the dust for my granddaughter for Christmas - she was so excited! They look great on her and fit well.

Better than the cheaper chuck taylor
Much more cushion than the cheaper chuck Taylor, I don’t have to use inserts. They run slightly bigger, so if the regular chucks are tight, this one may fit perfect.

I purchased these for my daughter for her birthday. She has no idea who Chuck Taylor was, nor do I. I have to say that these are a nice-looking pair of shoes that I know will last forever.

my go-to sneaker
love them! personally felt like i didnt need to size down despite people saying they run big. i only went down a half size and its not uncomfortable but my toes do feel a bit squished after being on my feet all day

I haven't had a pair of high tops in years, and I didn't realize how much I missed it! They fit just the way I hoped, are comfortable, and look great with so many things. They are comfortable on their own, but I threw a pair of insoles in to make them even more so.

i used to only wear converse in high school but switch to vans because i had wider feet so i was a little worried when i ordered these. they fit so much better than the old style. my feet don't feel crammed in and i still have a good amount of toe room at the tips plus they're super cute!

Perfect all the way around
I LOVE these!! I had a different style of high top converse years ago that just never fit me right. BUT these are truly perfect. I ordered my typical size and they fit perfectly. Immediately comfortable and super sleek. They have amazing structure and feel/look super high quality! I’m obsessed and will be purchasing these in more colors. 10/10!

Comfortable shoes after a couple days to break in. These are a bit stiffer than typical Chucks, but once broken in, just as comfortable. Buy a whole side smaller than your regular sneakers. These run big.

If there were a pair of shoes I would love to wear for the rest of my life it would be converse they are so comfortable and I love the color because it's not too light and it's wonderful. My outfits are finally complete and I couldn't be happier. My best friend told me that my outfits are finally complete and shes right! 3 years after asking for Christmas I got them myself for Black Friday and ahhhh best day ever!

My Favorite Shoe
Have been wearing them for 7 hours at least 5 times per week for a bit over a month now, and they still look pretty much brand new. Higher quality, durability, and comfort than the originals. Would definitely recommend over the regular all star. (Image was when it was brand new)
