God Tier shoes!
From the moment I put these on they have been the most comfortable pair of Converse I have ever owned!! They are lightweight, the tread is perfect on snowy/icy sidewalks and the insole feels like a dream wrapped in a cloud topped with the most plushest feeling. I’m so happy I purchased these and I hope Converse never stops making them, because these are god tier shoes!

Excellent for Winter
Confortable and look nice. Loot people give complement on how they look. Material look premium and excellent. No complains. Work great is snow. They're not sleepery.

Warm and comfortable boot
I was looking for a replacement for a pair of Converse John Varvatos chucks that I got a long while ago...and these looked very similar. They exceeded my expectations because they were way more comfortable than the Varvatos chucks, and they looked just as stylish with that blue. The insoles are amazing and the elastic tongue and ankle support makes them warm and snug for Fall/Winter wear.

Very comfortable- I wear these riding my motorcycle. The comfort insole is wonderful and the color and feel are great. Very happy with them- and they are waterproof.

Practical and beautiful
These should be a core offering. I’m not into some of the wacky departures from the original shoe, but these are practical and beautiful. In the black version they appear much like the classic shoe because the extra tread is black and on the bottom without the sidewall ripper extending to the bottom like a Lift. So they don’t look bulky or clunky. Tested in the snow and freezing temperatures these work extremely well. I went out with my plain leather chucks one day in this weather and could instantly feel the cold wicking up from the concrete into my feet. Not the case when wearing these. Love them!
I want my own pair
Bought these for a family member for Christmas and immediately wished I had bought some for myself! The materials are so nice and it seems like it would be a comfortable shoe. Very sleek looking in all black.

Love these! Bought them just I time for the atmospheric river passing through our area and had no issues. Comfortable and warm. I’d add back the shoe tongue for the next generation.
First pair of many
I've never owned a pair of converse until now. I ride motorcycles and was looking for a comfortable shoe, but also with a little style too. When I tell you, these are those shoes; trust and believe it! Not to mention the price was incredible... wishing I had bought a couple more pairs now

Great water proof sneakers
They are little heavy for Converse sneakers. They fit fine.I have over 20 pair of converse. Only sneaker I wear.

These may be my favorite Converse so far. They are extremely comfortable and feel solid when walking in them. The leather is very nice, traction sole is grippy. They are a bit darker color in person than the pictures show. I haven't had the chance to try them in rainy weather so I'm looking forward to seeing how they hold up.
Comfortable, keeps you from slipping!
I'm a few weeks in and finally got to test these out on fresh snow. They work great on keeping my feet dry and warm, and the rubber sole keeps me from slipping! I would suggest wearing tall socks until you break them in, only because the top part bit into my skin when the leather was still stiff. Otherwise, it's a great shoe and I absolutely recommend them!
Classic. Comfy Sole.
I rarely post reviews. I wear Converse to treat my plantar faciitis with a zero-drop heel, and now I have a 6pr. Long ago I thought it would be a cool invention to make a clear pull-over galosh, but now Converse makes a water-resistant shoe! These fit NICE. I recently walked a couple miles in them during a parade. No complaints. None.

Winter walking approved
My son wore these while marching in a parade downtown Denver. Said they were super comfy. The bottom tread is excellent. Can’t wait til he hits his next growth spurt so I can have them for myself.
Cute and comfy
These are so cute and so comfortable! I ordered the dark brown pair and absolutely love them. I agree they run a tad large. I still stuck with my regular 8.5 because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of exchanging them, but I think I could have worn an 8.

I have been a fan of Converse for as long as i remember. I'm not gonna lie, these Waterproof Chuck Taylor's I just got in the mail. And the entire day I wore them, the most comfortable Converse I have ever worn, let me tell ya, I wore alot of of them. And they don't feel like these ones. This might sound a little chliche but kinda feels like I walking on a mattress, anyway, I love these so much. I love Converse period, Now i don't have to worry about my feet getting wet. They'll be nice and warm

Classic Swag, extremely comfortable
I frantically bought these shoes for a trip to Glasgow, Scotland. I live in Tucson where it’s 80 in December so I didn’t have appropriate weather shoes. I always have high tops though and saw these weather proof Chucks and took a leap of faith. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND RECOMMEND. They kept me warm and dry and I was walking comfortably through the wet snow city just fine. What I also really like is that these boots can be dressed up or kept casual so they fit right into my wardrobe. I will definitely buy another pair. Very happy w my purchase, thank you Converse!

I bought a pair of these 3 years ago and they are still my go-to shoes in the winter. I'm from Minnesota and they keep my feet dry and warm. Where I live some shoes just don't hold up, these have. Give us a gray and I will buy another pair.

Love chucks, but...
Ive worn chucks for years. Sad to see these not offered in wide width.

I live near the coast and it has been raining a lot. These shoes have kept my feet warm and dry.
Just Right
Not too big while still having enough grip for when the weather gets bad. The gusseted tongue is a big plus too, keeping it lined up and keeping dirt or mud from getting inside your shoes.
Comfort beyond measure
I really like the color combination and they are very comfortable.
