Classy and memorable
Feels just like my first pair I bought back in 1971 for basketball, supportive, comfortable and cushiony. I feel young again.
Exactly what I expected!
I really love these! The color is true to the picture. The fit is wonderful. I like the ease and comfort of these shoes. I am lucky enough to be able to comfortably wear flexible sizes, I imagine that most people can. I am very happy that I purchased these and plan to continue!! I recommend these to everyone!

For the gym
70s are the best, I use them for lifting weights at the gym, they are comfortable and have just enough cushion while still giving the perfect floor feel during a lift. And they're super cute!

Great looks especially with black laces. I normally wear 9 but got these in 8.5. The toe box is a bit narrow but fine after you break them in.

Classic!
I wanted a second color low tops, and these bright pink ones hit the mark! They'll be great to wear at all my breast cancer events! I swapped in black laces for a little bit of a custom look. They fit great out of the box, they go well with so many things, and are comfortable enough on their own, but throw in a pair of insoles and boom, all day perfection.
Great classic look
Always stiff at first. Will fit like a glove soon for sure. Liking the new cushier standard inserts….Now I don't have to go buy them. Seems much more comfy than they used to be
Surprisingly comfy
These shoes run about a half size too large. I wear a 9.5 or 10 and the size 9 fit me perfectly with a bit of room in the toe. I wore chucks in high school and my early 20’s and they always rubbed and gave me blisters before I wore them in. The chuck 70’s did not do that. They are comfortable right out of the box. Wide enough not to rub. The insole is squishier than I remember. I am really happy with the dark navy onyx color, fit, and comfort!

Chuck 70 is awesome!! I did order my usual size for Converse BUT these run bigger than others especially the WIDE. Just size down a half size from your regular Converse size. This is a must have basic shoe to wear anywhere!

Classic look🤩
It’s been a while for me to wear Converse but I’m excited for this pair. I like the navy blue color, too. By Converse’s size recommendation, I ordered half size smaller and it fits well (my size is W8, and I ordered W7.5).
A cool classic for wider feet!
So excited to finally be able to wear converse sneakers! I need to use a custom orthotic and couldn’t in with the narrow width of the originals. Having these in a wide width , being able to have a more cushioned sole has allowed me to finally join all the cool kids at 68!

Love theses shoes!! I usually wear a size 10 but usually buy 11 because I have wide feet. I read that these shoes run big so I order a 10.5 wide. They are a little big but not flopping off my feet. I really could've gotten away with a 10 wide. I will place an order for a different color in size 10 wide and see if its a better fit. I am keeping the pair I have. They fit and look great! If you're on the edge about it, trust me and purchase a pair.

I'm glad that I sized down and got a wide width! I also followed the sizing guide for the women's version of men's sizing. I've only started wearing them and so far so good! PS The Converse website was the only place I could find this shoe in a wide width.
Chuck Taylor always Cool
Always a cool look, and it’s great that they come in a true wide width especially the small men’s size 7.5. Not easy to find my size with a cool looking sneaker and at a reasonable price.

A Great Looking and Comfortable Shoe!
Love these shoes! They are just a little tighter in the toe box than the classic model, but they're much better made. If you prefer a wide toe box, then I would order your regular size and not size down by a 1/2 size like suggested. I also do this with the classic, so if you have the classics and like the fit, these will fit the same.
A True Classic

Great spin on the classic style
The canvas is much thicker than the All Star and the whole construction feels a lot more heavy duty. The retro details and cream color sole are a sharp look. It definitely stands out against the All Star while still retaining what makes it such a classic shoe.

These Chuck 70s are great. The include extra cushioning and support that are exactly what I need if I'm going to be wearing them all day. They're slightly heavier than the classic chucks but the sturdiness and support add that. These are now my favorite chucks!

Twist on a Classic!
These are the most comfortable chucks I have ever worn. They took the classic chuck and stepped up the game! The 70s have the same retro style that has been a staple for the converse brand, but I could wear these ALL DAY with zero foot fatigue. I really like the off white color on the toe cap and sole. I highly recommend these sneakers.

Most comfortable converse
These are the most comfortable converse I’ve ever worn!! I’m a converse girl. Since high school, I’ve alternated between the converse all-star high tops and low tops (always white of course!). I know how they fit and feel, and they are comfortable. I was excited to try this new style because it looked just like my favorites that I always buy, but felt like they had a lot better cushion on the inside. This makes a difference when you’re wearing them and are walking all day. They felt super comfortable right when I put them on. The fit was roomy and the width felt great. My feet didn’t hurt at all after the first time I wore them, even though I was on my feet and walking for over 8 hours (and they did not have to be broken in either). These are definitely the most comfortable sneakers I’ve worn in a while. I loved how they looked with jeans and a t-shirt. They go with pretty much everything I wear. These will be my new go-to pair of shoes.
Vintage Classic
The Chuck 70 wide comes with a vintage look to it but has the same classic feel the original Chuck converse has. The shuttle cream shade of the insole makes the converse chuck look broken in but the white upper makes it look new and stand out even further. The subtle shade of cream also allows you to wear them with a wider range of colors than a regular all white pair. Overall the vintage look on the Chuck Wide 70 looks incredible and will get you a ton of compliments.

CLASSIC AND COMFORTABLE
These are my first pair of Converse and I'm highly pleased with them. They are comfortable and they fit me perfectly. I love wearing them and haven't worn any other shoes since I got them. I was looking for a color that I could wear during any season and that would match anything I wore. I bought this color because they were fashionable and neutral.
Classic and versatile summer shoe
My husband loves Converse, but his wider feet always look a bit cramped in standard width, but he was reluctant to get wide. I was super excited to find these were carried in wide, and he is obsessed with this pair! Out of the box they looked huge (he’s a 12 wide), but he thought they felt true to size for Converse (which he feels typically run a bit long) and of course even more comfortable than normal for him in the wide width. The white is so classic cool and looks great with so much. Perfect summer shoe. He’s also excited to twin with our preschooler who also has white Converse. In our experience they clean up relatively well, even for white shoes. Highly recommend.
Great support, and wide width is comfortable
The extra cushion support compared to the classic converses are very noticeable. Definitely less fatigue and more comfortable to walk in - especially when they’re brand new. The wider width is great for the toe space, and if you have a bunion- these are the way to go. Does not look wider than the regular width. Generally wear a 9.5 men’s (because of a broken toe that has arthritis) in other regular width shoes and with these wide shoes- went with a 9, and they are comfortable.
Fresh, clean, comfortable, casual
I will start by saying I have always been a fan of the timeless Chuck Taylor. However, I never wore a pair because I always equated them with the old school high-top (sweet, timeless shoe, but I never liked the feel on my ankles). The 70's give me everything I like about the look of the timeless shoe AND feel free at the ankle. Win win. I have the white pair with subtle blue and red lines. They have become a go-to shoe for a fresh, clean and casual look. They are super convenient to throw on with shorts or jeans to run out for errands and comfortable enough for a trip to the park or a walk around the neighborhood with the kiddos. The white was a little risky, especially with young kids, but so far the canvas has stayed clean. Also, I think a little wear on the guys will just add to their character. I typically don't wear a wide, which my pair is, but the width in this shoe is perfect. I think had I gone with a regular fit they might be a bit too narrow for my comfort.
Well worth it!
I’m an older guy and went back to converse a pair of Converse out of curiosity. So glad I did. They are incredibly comfortable and better than anything else I have tried. Plus my grandkids say I look cool!

A new adventure!
My first adventure with this model of the classic canvas Chucks. My brother recommended them, and he knows quality. I’ve worn the classic low cut Chuck’s since high school. The variation feels a bit clunkier but also very wearable and durable.

Perfect Chucks
These shoes are amazing! I liked the wider fit of these shoes because the outside of the regular ones seem to roll outward as I'm walking and these don't do that. They are very comfortable. The design is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the black line that goes around the toe cap and the side of the shoe. I also like how shiny the toe cap is. The fabric of the the shoes look good and feel comfortable, and stay true to the classic converse old school style. The thing I liked most about these shoes is the softness in the sole and I just really like the look of a good Chuck Taylor shoe. I don't think there is really anything about this shoe that I would change, they are perfect for me. If anything, I'd get this exact shoe, just in a high top, so I could have both styles for whatever mood I'm in.

I've been a dedicated fan of Converse since my elementary school days, always sporting their iconic All Stars. However, as I've grown older, my feet need a bit more care and comfort. That's where the Chuck 70 Wide comes in—it's been a game-changer for me! These shoes are incredibly comfortable and stylish, striking a perfect balance between the two. They seamlessly integrate into my wardrobe while allowing me to wear them comfortably for extended periods without any discomfort or blisters.One of the standout features for me is the super cushy sole, which has been a lifesaver for my high arches. Additionally, the wide toe box is a blessing as it accommodates any foot swelling after long walks. If there's one improvement I'd suggest, it would be adding more cushioning around the heel to prevent blisters when wearing them with no-show or no socks. Nevertheless, I'm thoroughly impressed with the design, fabric quality, and overall fit of these shoes. They've exceeded my expectations.
