If there were a pair of shoes I would love to wear for the rest of my life it would be converse they are so comfortable and I love the color because it's not too light and it's wonderful. My outfits are finally complete and I couldn't be happier. My best friend told me that my outfits are finally complete and shes right! 3 years after asking for Christmas I got them myself for Black Friday and ahhhh best day ever!

My Favorite Shoe
Have been wearing them for 7 hours at least 5 times per week for a bit over a month now, and they still look pretty much brand new. Higher quality, durability, and comfort than the originals. Would definitely recommend over the regular all star. (Image was when it was brand new)

Love my Chucks, and have since junior high (late 80s.) Still awesome! I do miss some of the plaid styles I had as a kid, similar to the fabric of the couches in our house

I wear these to the gym, the bigger dudes now leave when I show up, intimidated by the baby blue. Quite a few young women have expressed interest, which is nice. I am roughly 30% stronger, when I wear my chucks. Now, men fear me, women want me - helluva shoe.

Fit with every dress
I've always been fan of converse shoes and this is no difference. As it says on website this shoe is .5 bigger than other sizes which is very true. Just remember this before purchasing. Also if you're a student, you'll get some discounts. I find these bit more comfortable than the All Star.

My new favorites!
I am loving these Chuck 70s, they are so incredibly comfortable! I ordered two sizes, 7 1/2 and 8 and even though the 8 were just a little bit big, I ended up keeping them because the width was more comfortable for me. I am usually a solid in most shoes. These sneakers do run narrow, so that’s something to keep in mind. I love that I can wear them with thicker socks, especially because winter in NH can be so cold. They are pretty much all I wanna wear right now, I just love them so much!!
Perfect in Every Way
I have been waiting for Converse to release a new red colorway in Chuck 70 style. I thought the wait was over when the "Fever Dream" colorway was released. However those turned out to be more of a red-orange. The "Enamel Red" colorway was exactly what I was waiting for. If "Nice Blue" is the perfect blue colorway, the "Enamel Red" is the perfect red. The quality of the canvas and rubber is top notch and I love these so much. I have (at least) 40 pairs of converse, and this pair is one of my absolute favorites and I must commend Converse for them.
No half size down
I know that every one says that these run big so buy a half size down but, that was NOT my experience. I bought them true to my regular Nike sizing and they fit wonderfully! I have narrow feet but converse are always a bit too narrow so I ordered wide. Normally with wide I feel like I am wearing boats for shoes but this was not the case! They are still quite slim with just a little more room. So if you do have wide feet, these may not accommodate adequately. In any case, these are cute and comfortable! I don’t feel like I’m walking on some thin rubber, the soles feel thicker than regular converse and I really like that.

My daughter loves these shoes. It took her a little while to wear them in. I don’t agree that they run big, in fact compared to other sneakers she’s worn in the same size these run a little small. After a couple of weeks of constant wear they are more comfortable for her.

Yes, of course they do. These are built a whole lot better than the cheaper Amazon Chuck's. They're sewn better than the cheaper Amazon ones. They are built like the one's I used to buy in high school in the 70s. For only 20 dollars more.

feels great! you will definitely want to size down. i sized down half a size, probably could have done more but I prefer a slightly looser feel in the shoe anyway.

UPGRADE FROM THE ALL STAR
An upgrade to the classic All Star. Everything (from the fabric to the sole) seems better made -- thicker/heavier sole is supportive because is more rigid, so bends less. The canvas is also thicker and feels better made; same with the rubber and eyelets. I continue to prefer the Chuck 70 over the All Star.
70s are comfortable
I recommend on get the 70s for casual use. While a bit heavier than the All Stars, the comfort of the insole is well worth it. DO NOT DOWN SIZE. Don't at all recommend a down size. Wear a sz 10, ordered a 10 and they fit as they should. Athletic shoes and should have ample space in the toe for sudden stops and running. The "rule of thumb" is a thumbs width from the end of your largest toe. Plus, perhaps more important, is where the shoe breaks in the forefoot. It should break at the ball of the foot.

They’re so comfortable that I can wear them during my workouts and they’re non slip enabling me to lift weights while on the big ball. They wear well and still fit even after throwing them in the wash

The thicker sole gives them a better structure than the standard converse. If you want converse to last get these.
