Four NYC Teens Show Off Their First Day of School Looks

If there's one thing to know about Gen Z, it's that nothing will stop us on our quest for self-expression. We aren’t afraid to speak out, question culture, or challenge dress codes. Anything goes. With another school year starting up, I hung out with four friends to get their take on style and what sets our generation apart. Read what they had to say, and see the wildly creative mash-ups they’ll be wearing on their first day—complete with Chucks in new colors straight-up perfect for fall.
My favorite thing to do in my Chucks is… Walk around the city.Describe your style in three words: Bright, playful, and coordinated.What’s your best piece of style advice? A: we get to create the future.

Very involved in the fashion industry, hopefully with my own clothing brand.

A: Glitter eyeshadow, lint roller, and a bag of spicy chips.
